How long after a first good date do you ask for a second one?

My husband called me the next day to say how much he enjoyed the date and asked if we could do it again. That was over 20 years ago!

Reading answers here and i might say that asking on the actual first date might be too much pressure. Keep it chill. But you should know if it feels right.

Ask the next day. Plan a week ahead.

If it's a first date it might be a bit awkward to ask for the second one and last thing you want to do is social pressure them into giving you a false yes, you just have to feel it out. If it's something that I want then I'll ask the next day. I don't always want a second date.
