Would finding out your partner is infertile be a dealbreaker for your relationship ?

Hell no. I'd marry them on the spot.
no, a relationship shouldn't be based on procreation lol it should be enjoying each other.

Not at all. Neither of us want children anyway, so to be honest...if it was discovered that she could not get pregnant it would be a tremendous blessing and relief because we'd not have to always take precautions anymore. But if we would've wanted children and then found out...it wouldn't change how I feel about her (I didn't marry her on whether or not she could have babies).
Nope. I don’t want any more children at this point in my life.

I’m not in that position anymore but I would want to adopt. Being a mom was important to me.

@Greenbare con·sum·mate
verb
verb: consummate; 3rd person present: consummates; past tense: consummated; past participle: consummated; gerund or present participle: consummating
ˈkänsəˌmāt/
1.
make (a marriage or relationship) complete by having sexual intercourse.
"his first wife refused to consummate their marriage"

Now tell me we haven't consummated our marriage...the definition says absolutely nothing about having children.

I have 6 children & 13 grand children. If I was looking for a new lady, infertile would be PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!
SW-User
On the contrary. I'm not interested in having children so that's a welcome extra layer of anticonception.
SwarmSona · F
being infertile myself I literally wouldn't care.
AngelofFail · 26-30, F
@SwarmSona i am in the same boat but i found out it matters for a lot of people.. despite the positive reactions here
SwarmSona · F
@AngelofFail I guess it just depends but honestly there's nothing wrong with adoption. I think focusing on that stuff is silly
sassypants · 36-40, F
Not in the least I would stay with him. There are other options available.
Elegy · 46-50
No, I already have some.
AngelofFail · 26-30, F
@Elegy what if you had no kids ?
Elegy · 46-50
@AngelofFail that would be more difficult. I didn't want any initially but I'll ignore that for the sake of your question.
SirEldridge · 26-30, M
Ugh that would be perfect
SW-User
No I don't want kids anyway
5thApprentice · 31-35, M
Can always adopt if need be.
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
