My father actually hit on my wife. She told me about it one day after a visit to their home. He invited her to accompany him as he went to check on a house he'd been watching for a friend and neither of us thought anything of that at the time so she did. When they got there he said pointed at her boobs and touched them asking "when are you going to show me these?". She didn't of course and they left to come back. It was the next day or the following that I found out. I could tell something was bothering her and got her to finally open up and tell me what it was. She was in a dilemma with him being my Dad and all and that's why she didn't say anything. Needless to say I was furious...I wanted to very strongly confront him about it. I ended up calling my mother and telling her about it, decided to let her handle it. She called later that evening and had us come back to discuss this situation and we went. He admitted he was guilty and he apologized (though it didn't seem very sincere). I think he was more sorry that she told and he got busted (no pun intended). We accepted his apology, but we have never been able to forget and don't trust him anymore. We don't visit near as often anymore either because neither of us feel comfortable being there. Mom invites her to come and visit whenever I'm working but she won't go without me and I can't blame her one bit (I don't want her going alone either). It's hard to say how far he'd have gone had she complied with his "request".
