Do men and women experience love (falling in love or being in love) differently?

Whatever differences there are are probably more dependent on the individual than their gender.

Great question. I think everyone experiences it differently, from one person to the other. Also as individuals we change as we grow older and gain exposure and encounter new experiences, and the meaning of "love" changes.

I'm thinking each of us, to one degree or another, experience love differently.

IMO it depends on social and psychological situations just as much as it does on gender. People from conservative worlds differ from those that are more liberal, something I have experienced firsthand.

Women use their hearts and minds. Men use their loins. 😅

Men fall in love quicker and women take longer, in my opinion.

Initially, both are seeing something in the other person they need or desire and likely this is very different. But falling in love is a lifetime sport and requires sacrifice, commitment, daily choices and losing your self. That is something men and women do exactly the same.
