Are we more than platonic friends

me and my best friend would consider our friendship platonic. Everyone thinks we are more than what we say we are based off how we interact with each other. I had a crush on him, and the goal was to talk to him in hopes of having a relationship. we never advanced that way instead it got to us being best friends me sleeping over his apartment always with him etc. We're both alike both the same horoscope sign and personality. He finds me attractive but sees me as a sister. He also hates when I mention getting into a relationship and says " sorry for caring about my friend" when I ask him why does he not support my decision yet I support him when he mentions girls. Do you guys think he likes me and just wants to keep us as friends so it does not complicate our friendship? or he cares too much? i also got pregnant so that def changed our friendship but he wanted to be there almost like a dad for my child bc the real dad did not want to be there, which also made me think maybe we could be more.
