I live in the Southwest. Many Hispanic men. They are not a bit rude or objectionable. They just show courteous appreciation. It’s genetic. If a female cockroach crawls by, she’s wearing a smile as she moves on.

I’m 66. I was on the Railrunner train one day, wearing a wide-brimmed sun hat and my usual dangly trashy earrings. A Hispanic kid of maybe 25 walked past and smiled at me, got off the train, turned around and got back ON to say, Senorita. I want to tell you you look beautiful in Your hat. I mean, what’s not to love?
