Uh... Would you continue to date someone that’s still pretty much has some sort of feeling for their ex?

Bcuz, I think my bf is still hung up on his beautiful ex gf!!

The flip side of this question is, must you be completely over a past relationship for a new one to have any chance of success?

If he’s hung up on his ex because she’s beautiful... then he will be hung up on anything beautiful.

If it was other things... then learn from it. It might be a good way to learn what he likes and doesn’t like. See if you have those features...

If not... you may be in trouble.
Ugh, ik you’re right. But damn.. Sucks

My ex did that with me, there was other complicating factors (emotionally) and I don't feel she would change anything, or me .. It did have it's meanings upon us, and if I didn't have to deal with grief during that time maybe we could have found something.
I would try but eventually I’d want to be with somebody who was totally into me and not thinking of somebody else too.
@midnightrose I would really want to find someone that’s into me and only me, not someone with wondering eyes.

There wouldn't be anything to pursue there

Nah, I'd be out of there.
So, it won’t matter if I’m just using him till I find someone better or is that just too much on my end?

@DiamondLoyalty Well, in my opinion, that is also not fair. If it's a mutual agreement that it's more a casual arrangement, fine. But otherwise, I'd say it's better not to toy with someone's emotions like that.
