Have you ever been with someone where nothing you do is ever good enough?

Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
That's one reason she's my ex. She'd win the lottery and complain about going to the state capitol and meeting a politician to collect her winnings. (No, she never won the lottery. Lol)

Not romantically but yeah a close friend. Or someone I thought as close.
Eventually I had enough of being criticised.
AliceMortem · 31-35, F
@SW-User does get to the point where you give up
SW-User
@AliceMortem Yes. For both our sakes.

@SW-User I understand this all too well too ...those overly critical " friends" they are a pain ...I lost my patience with these types of people ,I'm tired of it too ,sorry to hear you go through it too
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Those people are exhaustive to the spirit.
Get rid as soon as possible.
malizz · 70-79, M
Trouble is you end up saying I'm not going to bother ever again.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Yes and when I divorced it was like a heavy burden was lifted. The more I did the more he complained, I had nightmares of digging holes and having to fill them up and then dig more, it was symbolic of the marriage....no real progress because after one issue was addressed another one would replace it.
amvanquish · 51-55, M
That's why I'm single.
KittenfromHell · 61-69, F
YES! Even when I followed his directions to the letter
AliceMortem · 31-35, F
@KittenfromHell typical narcissistic behaviour
