That's true, but remote possiblites doesnt mean 0 possibility.

I know Ive probably already made a name for myself as weirdo like I always do, but I can still see myself meeting someone just as weird, and dirty minded as me. Us starting up a long-term relationship and going from there.

At least there is a higher chance that FB at least!! There the most you can hope for is being stalked by fuckboi's if your a single female, and Russian Mail order brides, and scammers if your a single male😑.

Oh certainly. But a LDR formed over the internet will still usually be inherently weaker than one formed between two people who lived close together and then were forced apart, because it lacks that foundation of close personal connection.

Of course, just as easily as the internet allows us to wear a mask, reduced social pressure can make it easier to strip a mask away and be more freely expressive of your true intent. So, call it a pretty even shot I guess.
