How would you feel if your crush flirted with you and said the sweetest things, but rejected you as you confess them your true feelings?

This happened to me two, I guess three times in the past few years.
My other crushes didn't show any signs so it was quite obvious it wouldn't work out, however two of them would always tell me how sweet and what a great guy I was, sometimes even ask me intimate questions which made me almost 100% sure they also had feelings for me, but nope. 😞
Another girl I had feelings for was just really nice to me, but didn't exactly play with my feelings like the two others did. And as I mentioned before, other crushes I've had didn't show any interest and some even remained secret.

That's one of two things, it's either they were just being nice.. but you were reading too much into it, we do that sometimes especially if it's a person we really like, or they're just good at playing mind games.. which is awful cause you can almost never tell.

Sometimes girls are really really nice because that's just how they are. That doesn't mean they like you, they're just very kind. I met a few girls like that in highschool.
