I will attempt to contact a friend, but after I feel as if I'm the only one trying, I will stop. When I completely stop hearing from someone who is supposed to be a friend, then I feel like I'm not wanted in their life, so why bother. 🤷

If this is about conversation starting, then I am that friend who forgets to initiate conversations.
And all those who are close enough to me know it's not because I do not care for them and somehow they still keep me in their life.

No, done that far too many times already. To only coke realise they were off spending time with others. Listen nothing wrong with growing apart but don't leave someone hanging.

Yes. I have a few who are happy to be around, but they just won't initiate things
