Is it bad to give up on love

I really don't think it's for me. Too much work. Meeting someone then convincing them to like you.

If you have to convince them, then that may be your problem right there. Stop going for people who don't like you, so you have to convince them that they should. Find someone who just does. Someone you naturally click with.

@Madhatter Exactly my thoughts

you pretty much just end up in pain. i know people say its not healthy but i tend to close myself off from people. i had really deeply cared about someone before that doesnt feel very good.

Everyone will find someone that truly loves them if they look hard enough

Why do you have to convince them to like you? It shouldn't be that much work. You are young to be giving up on love. I should have long ago with all my failures but I'm glad I hung in there to meet my soulie.

@Hugosfbay Isn't there something wrong with everybody though? We all have flaws and the person you are with should love you unconditionally.

@Hugosfbay You don't have to keep looking. Usually, love happens when you least expect it.

It depends on who you are. In my case, I'm last person to fall in love with:

I'm too cold.
Too introverted.
Too scarred.

Intimacy and romantic love is not for me.
And that's ok.

There are other things that have meaning and are equally as rewarding.

I understand. I'm emotionally flatlined majority of the time. I don't have emotions strongly or at all. Someone deserves better than that.

Idk. Only if it's best for you lol

Well I have. I am done done done with all that shit!!!! BUT... You are a bit young to be making a decision like that. Give a few more years.
