Am I wrong?

our relationship has been pretty rocky I've accepted her for who she really is and I love her more than anything in this world but idk she seems to always be on edge and she thinks I'll leave after the slightest problem or whatever but anyways just recently I've started to notice she isn't really taking her of her mental health issues and she doesn't love herself so I broke it off with her and I told her that she needed to focus on what's more important (her sanity) don't know if I spelt that right haha and she needed to learn how to love herself before she could love me. Am I wrong for this? I feel really guilty for doing this but I feel as if this is what she's needs and I love her so much and it's killing me to even do this and I just need some inputs anyone..?

No, sometimes it's best to let people go and work on themselves for awhile. It's better for them to get help than to drag you down a path you don't want to go down. Hopefully she will sort out what she needs to sort out and maybe try again someday.

well... from my experience most of the people I know who LOVE THEMSELVES ... they were NOT capable to love other's: partner, children.... so I am not sure what kind of crap u r talking about that she needs to love herself 1st... people who love themselves so much they just think about themselves its just: me me me.... other people r not important to them... so if i hear from someone that u have to love yrself first I will puke ... not sure who came out with this shit but in reality is incorrect! I guess someone who got crossed wires in the brain think like this.... people who love others not themselves are capable of loving anotherone....

You're right... just reassure her that you still love her. But yes she needs to help herself before moving forward. I wish you both well... good luck ☺

You can't love another until you accept yourself. You may love her but if she has mental health to deal with it is best to encourage her to get that help and make her no promises in the meantime.

You know what you need from a partner. It's not wrong and you shouldn't feel guilty for keeping yourself strong.

@Wiseacre thanks haha her cousin told me that I shouldn't have left because it would make her worse and it's making me feel really guilty but I only want the best for her...
