Can a cheater reform?

Yes but unlikely from my experiences.

Can a politician become honest?

maybe some are willing to change their ways as i wont lump everyone together say people wont change as some will. its like an addiction some people can change while others will continue their course. but cheating is more of a personality flaw tho.

It's interesting you mention it like an addiction. I felt like my last girlfriend was definitely my drug of choice. When I couldn't have her anymore I changed to Vicodin for several years. I think cheating and that early "in love" stage of relationships is definitely like a drug for me anyway. @SW-User
They can change if you make them feel loved, wanted, desired, beautiful, and make them your priority.
@Genieinabottle Let me ask you: Why doesn’t an adult who doesn’t feel they’re getting those things ask for them, or end the relationship if the partner refuses, rather than choosing to sneak around ? It’s a cowardly way of blaming one’s partner for one’s own choices.
Genieinabottle · 51-55, M
That's perfectly reasonable. Why don't they? Maybe it's hard to ask for things once you have been shut down so many times. Maybe , but I am just guessing here.@bijouxbroussard
@Genieinabottle People also cheat without even letting their partner know they’re dissatisfied. Or necessarily being dissatisfied, other than wanting to have sex with someone new.

that really depends on their reasons for cheating

@Genieinabottle affection is just another addiction when you're in pain, if you felt the need to look elsewhere then you really need to figure out if your relationship is fulfilling either of your needs.
Genieinabottle · 51-55, M
I am worried she will look elsewhere again. I guess I cannot control that.
Genieinabottle · 51-55, M
@ZenKitzune is the relationship fulfilling the needs? Such a fundamental question. No, it's not. We don't talk, we don't make love, we don't do things, we don't spend time with one another aside from tv time. I don't know what our relationship does anymore but it doesn't fullfill me anyway.

They can change if they choose to change. It’s on them.

Back to the question - if the relationship they are in lacks things they are looking for couldn't resolving that fix the issue? I mean if the relationship lacks (whatever) kissing and she wants kissing wouldn't starting to kiss 💋 fix the issue? If he wants something special and she is unwilling either she provides it, he lives without it forever or he gets it elsewhere. @bijouxbroussard
@Genieinabottle Or he leaves the relationship. More honorable than sneaking around.
