I don't have an issue with people's stances towards the existence of God. But I despise militant or extremist ones. And let's face it, there are atheists who are annoying af. Constantly trying to change people's beliefs just as much there are believers operating under the same mindset. I can't stand that even though I am an antitheist and agnostic atheist.

The line between constrictive criticism of religious beliefs ,rules,religion, interference in politics and between personal attacks, intolerance, disrespect is very thin.

Being handsome or wealthy is far less important than having compassion and similar views on things like religion. I wouldn't marry someone whose religious views differed greatly from mine.

Well, I'm a heterosexual male, so that wouldn't work out. But otherwise, I'm not bothered by atheists.

Compassionate and thoughtful would suffice, and I'd prefer not to marry a theist. So an atheist or agnostic would be fine, as long as they didn't hassle the believers among my friends and family. We all get along by agreeing to "live and let live". 🙂
