What would be the best place to take a girl on the first date?

Love to know everyone's thoughts
Bubbles · 36-40, F
Personally, for me, I think a good first date can just be dinner and drinks afterwards, all where you can talk and get to know the other person. It doesn't have to be super elaborate.

Dinner and then a nice patio bar 😊

Something simple and if possible, fun !
I've had way too many dinner-dates and half way through found one or the other of us would rather have been somewhere else !

Something different. Like row boating or something
Smartygirl24 · 31-35, F
I'd say somewhere quiet, like the beach...
Something fun where you focus on something. Can see how they react in certain circumstances. Doing is better than talking.

@Whispersindreams you sound like you are talking from experience :)
@Philasefer I've been on some really crappy dates with boring guys. I have a thing for nerdy guys and often they have social issues.
Philasefer · M
@Whispersindreams Are you dating right now?
Groofydorkgerdo · 56-60, M
Either a weekend at the beach, the mountains, or the desert, a lot of out door activities until sunset.
Then a show, like a comedy stand up type of thing, or museum, or a play, (NOT THE MOVIES), dinner, amd sometimg exciting and differnt, like a helicopter ride around the city.

Zoo or museum
Groofydorkgerdo · 56-60, M
@LatteQueen museum is a good choice.
Judge by how she is dressed as to where you take her.
If she is dressed for a nice place take her to a nice place.
Casual same.
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
@Mondayschild I guess that's true if both are spontaneous. When I started dating, I wanted to know SPECIFICS in order to make sure I was dressed appropriately.
@MrsKatherineArch nothing more embarrassing than to be dressed wrong.
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
@Mondayschild Yep, been there, and done that. 😳

That restaurant where you eat in the dark and are served by blind waiters.

It's actually a neat experience... and also a lame pun. You'll be able to assess her senses of adventure and humour at the same time.

MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F

Madgirl · 26-30, F
