Helped mow the lawn today, took a shower at 7pm so do you

Note: If you have nothing beneficial, or helpful to say, move on. I'm on this post for *helpful* advice, and support, not badgering. THANKS!

think I did good? What I mean is, I'm *always* on the computer. I know how to weed whack so that's normally what I do. But for the last year, I had absolutely zero motivation to even want to go outside to help do it.

Today when I was getting my second donut, my dad said about mowing the lawn, he would load up the weed whacker for me (which I know how to do) so I went out from 10am to 145pm doing that.

Then at 7pm a PC game was installing and I said to myself, go shower, now. Since I have to work tomorrow. I think I have General Anxiety Disorder, (I have a couple of symptoms that could be related to GAD) but I haven't been looked at by anyone for it. Basically my days consist of going to work Mon-Tue-Wed 11 hours each day, then Thu-Fri 10 and a half hours a day. Then I come home and get on the computer, eat, hang on the PC until about 9pm or 10pm, bed, and do it all over again. Saturday, 6am to 11am, come home, hang on the computer all day. Whether it's gaming, skype with my friend and watching YouTube videos. That's literally all I do.

No exercising like I used to, used to ride my bicycle on the bike trail every once in a while. But do you think I did good by making the effort to go outside and help with the yard work, and getting in my shower early? (normally it's not until 9 or so before I get a shower if I'm up late)

Good job. Each day, do a little more. Come up with a daily schedule.

@MarkPaulThank you MarkPaul :)

Well, I was thinking about saying let's do yard work on sundays. Because I come home from work Mon-sat, and I am just so tired, and all I want to do is come home, relax. Sunday I figure well I'm not doing anything important, just sitting around the house.

But my dad will come home from work on his work days and spend time mowing the lawn and I'm left thinking, no, do it on a non-work day. But he's extremely old fashioned.

For example, my thought process is like this: *If you want me to help you with something, just ask nicely* What he has told me: *The way I was brought up is if you see someone working, you go help them*

I guess it's the people who were born in the 50's who were brought up that way.

@twiigss Yeah, that can be hard.
