I Need Advice On Relationships

I just wanted to give a few tips to men about how to chat with women online. From the messages I get I sometimes cringe at what I read. So I figure it may help a few people. Obviously, not all women will not agree with me here but I figure many will.

Here we go:
1. Stop with the superlatives. I'm not the prettiest/sexiest/hottest/cutest/(insert word)est woman you've ever seen. Any man that says these things I know wants only one thing, to get into your pants, which on the internet means see pics of you/nudes. Which leads to the next point.

2. Don't ask for pics too soon and don't send pics expecting someone to reciprocate. Asking too soon just shows what you are really after and its usually not to be friends.

3. Be the one to keep the conversation engaging and don't ask vague questions. Some of the most annoying questions I get are so vague. This might just be me, but I will purposefully not put time into answering the question because it was just a poorly asked question.

For now that's all I've got.

You started a great dialog. 👍️
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@SweetMae Thanks I hope it helps someone
Allelse · 31-35, M
Nah they're doing it all wrong, just send dick pictures.
Allelse · 31-35, M
@Coralmist It was certainly a strange adventure, to go from my satirical comment saying to send everyone dick pics to talking about Mcdonald's toys.
Coralmist · 36-40, F
@Allelse I had to 'grimace' at your comment, so it made me think of Grimace 🤭
Allelse · 31-35, M
@Coralmist Hehehe! :P I've enjoyed our conversation, I wonder what the other chap will make of it, the one who was taking me seriously.
MrPerditus1 · 56-60, M
Just curious, but why do we men have to keep the conversation engaging? I mean conversation is a two-way street. I feel it should be engaging on both sides. If not, then why even try?

You are right about the first two though and I would agree partially with 3.
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@MrPerditus1 That's just my preference, especially if the guy is the one who initiated the conversation.
MrPerditus1 · 56-60, M
@queenchloe Okay, you've got a point. :) I just like it when the woman I am with shows as much of an interest in the conversation and asks me things. Keeps me in the moment as well. :)

lol the guide to pick up women , told by women. plot twist, this is chapter 1
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@Zaxel pretty sure many guides to pick up women are written by women.
Zaxel · 26-30, M
@queenchloe i dont trust those guides, unless its written by a lesbian maybe
Stereoguy · 56-60, M
@Zaxel Lol!!! 😉
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
Hey sexy, send me some pics. Do you like sex?
Coralmist · 36-40, F
@HoraceGreenley I want to have *love explosion* 😁😂
Buildingadoor · 26-30, F
@HoraceGreenley Dame tu cosita
Coralmist · 36-40, F
Or, just answer your questions but not ask anything about you,🙁

You throw me a little here!

First off I’m not sure those superlatives would be given unless they did in fact see you. Seems odd to use those on an unseen person.

Second, it completely robs a man that might very well mean it! You could very well be the prettiest to him, seems cruel to rob him of the ability to say so.

Third, it’s hard to ask direct questions of someone you don’t know yet, or are trying to get to know. Direct questions are usually relegated to those that have developed a relationship and rapport

And finally...not trying to be an ass here, but if it is indeed his responsibility to keep the conversation engaging, may I ask what your responsibility is???
Or do you simply bear no responsibility at all??
And if you bear no responsibility, and it’s all on him to be engaging, never use superlatives, never ask to see a woman....(this is a guy after all)

Exactly what on earth would he be there for????
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@Extant1 Women get superlatives all the time and we know its BS. its one thing to hear it from a lover but I personally cringe whenever someone who is hitting on me uses them cause I know they will just turn around and say the same things to another girl.

I just want questions to be more specific. Instead of asking hey what do you like?(which I get asked all the time) Be more specific.

I prefer having the man be the one engaging the conversation especially when they initiated it.
Extant1 · M
@queenchloe I have to completely concur with those comments...

Very solid!!😘🥃🥃🥃
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Have some substance also. I don’t care if you’re horny 24/7, I’m not because I have a life.
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@Keepitsimple ^^^ I should add this too
I am so glad it don't date anymore, screw the internet age.
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@SW-User any particular reason?
this seems like an odd tutorial, but hope it helps someone.
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@blackguard so basically what you are saying is, you are only interested in talking about sex and only on here to see nudes.
@queenchloe no. but I am saying that if I had roles reversed... and you only wanted to talk about sex and I did not... that I would appreciate a directness so as to not mislead/spend a lot of time building connection when the only topic of intesrest is one I don't wanna talk about.

make it more direct and relatable to me, and not have anything to do with sex: I dig photography. I'm always interested in talking about the physics, light, shots, whatever. say someone else really likes, very specifically, the film development process. the chemicals, the dark room, et al. I know nothing about it, I have no input. rather than spending many days talking about photography, trying to coax me into a conversation about development and chemicals, I'd rather that they tell me that a. this is all they wanna talk about and b. this is the topic.
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@blackguard ok but deciding on what to talk about has nothing to do with any of my 3 tips.
Fauxmyope2 · 26-30, F
Thank you for writing this! It needs to be said over and overr on SW.
Allelse · 31-35, M
@Fauxmyope2 Nah it's all lies!!!
queenchloe · 18-21, F
@Allelse Your life is a lie.
What do you think of zaxel and would you do him?
DevilCalling · 22-25, M
So we can have friendship!
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
