I Am Not Very Close With My Relatives

I’m not that close with my relatives sadly because there were some abuse issues as a child (nothing horrifying but some things that crossed the line) however I am pretty close with my sister and her family so that’s good.

One of my parents crossed the line when i lived at home also even as an adult however they were so good to me in other ways that i have overlooked it although i still remember stuff.

@SW-User not a cult exactly but some of the practices were cult like. They were fundamentalist Christians but some of the things they did to children and teens was not ok, whether physical or non physical punishment. But they thought they were doing what was right.
