I Think Manners Are Important

I am surprised when I talk to people and they have to go, they don't tell me they are going...they just go...And I wait for them to come back, but they don't.

If you have to go, just say "be back later", "hang on for a minute", "be back after dinner", " I have a phone call wait 15 min," "let's talk tomorrow." So few do that.

I feel this way too. I can tell you have nice manners because when I chatted with you once you told me you needed to go. Very nice.

Yes, you're right, it's so rude & seems to be the norm. I hope the people that do it here don't do it irl.

Yes I agree I use to get mad when someone I was talking just disappeared but I got use to rude people.

I so agree. Maybe it's a sign of how interactions have changed, or how people treat online interactions.
