I Am Against Bullying

I was bullied all through elementary school by a girl who had failed a grade or two that I tried to befriend and a boy who would beat me up all of the time but he and I were much better friends than the girl. She would insult me all of the time and throw me down in the hallway when she saw me, and she wouldn't let me speak a word unless she told me to help her. She even payed some other kids to beat me up regularly. I would come home with bruises and scratches on my body almost every day, so I couldn't wear short sleeves or shorts. One day I asked how she was doing and she said she was only being friends with me because she could use me to do her schoolwork and since school was over soon she had no use for me and she said that I was the ugliest person on the face of the earth and I wasn't worth anyone's time and nobody was ever going to love me. Because of that, I've never been able to think of myself as beautiful. However, I've never thought of anyone as ugly either. Nobody ever stepped in and helped me or talked to her about it, not even the teachers who walked by.
