I Am Against Bullying

If you bully someone ba<x>sed on race/gender/etc, then the system actually does something about it (thumbs up). But if you bully someone because you're an asshole, then the system's perfectly okay with it. Workplace, schoolyard - it's the same thing.

If schools had the same zero-tolerance policy for bullying that they do for violence, there would be a lot less bullies. It wouldn't solve the problem - plenty of them would keep doing it and just get better at hiding it - but it would be a huge step in the right direction. Right now bullies grow up in a system that tells them "I kinda don't want you to bully people, but if you do, there won't be any consequences."

People grow up with this message, and then they become the people who make the policies where we work. They become the politicians and school board heads who make the laws and overall policies. Change the message we send to kids, and in a few generations, we'll have a generation of politicians and rule-makers and teachers and bosses who actually learned that bullying is NOT OKAY.

Men would become more immasculated without bullying. Less proof of strength.

The same could be said about violence - men become more emasculated when they aren't allowed to beat each other up. Should we just let kids beat each other up? Treating someone like garbage isn't a strength - it's a weakness. It shows that there's something missing inside the bully.

Why, no female bullies?

There are plenty of female bullies. I don't get where your question's coming from - I never said that there weren't female bullies.
