I See Things Differently
You are all pieces of a puzzle.
I focus on completing the part of the picture on the front of the box I like to see the most.
But the picture needed to be complete.
Ah, I could have finished the puzzle myself. I should have really.
Frustration. Too many pieces. The difficulty of a challenge when one isn't prepared for it.
Going against my natural instincts. The patience of searching through far too many pieces, just to add another to the right spot.
Giving up and abandoning what could have been made into a beautiful picture to frame upon the wall. One worth admiring and cherishing.
The puzzle feels almost complete. Picked up by the hands of fate. And I'm sad I didn't take the journey or do the work myself.
It feels unfulfilling when you know you started something beautiful, and the stranger comes in, finishing where you left off.
I was so unaware, my senses dulled. Used to predicaments and the way things worked out on a different set of values.
The hands of the scales can be tipped so easily. Especially in poor favor when one isn't paying attention to the finer details.
