I Write Mediocre Poetry
Like dust in the wind we all float through the air,
We all know time moves ever so quickly and is never really quite fair,
The sun burns brightly in the sky as we all eventually grow old,
Sometimes giving one wrinkles but also rejuvenating the body and soul,
The stars and the moon provide wonders to admiring eyes,
Their light in the darkness brightens our soul which keeps us from telling those lies,
Life is but a journey on a train track that moves within the mind,
So many destinations along the way but the right one always seeming impossible to find,
When you feel another soul you can touch,
A person you can truly trust,
Never let them go, before time gets to rob both of the chance to squash that sudden silence and hush...
