I once had a backup boss tell me that I need retrained, because i was working too fast and they all wanted to work slow.

I moved to a different department by then next month. Told the main boss about it.
I would not have lasted with that person for a day.

@SimplyLogicalDiscipline He was an ass. I walked out of the meeting when he said that to me. He didn't say that to anyone else.

Fortunately, in about a year, he was reassigned, and later terminated.

No I haven鈥檛 because I can manage my priorities. Either you (or this person) isn鈥檛 prioritizing what is important or the boss hasn鈥檛 communicated effectively what is important.

@iamonfire696 This person was new to the company < year. I had been there 20+ years. The project had just started so there was no communication about priorities. I didn't really need him to tell me what to do anyway, as I'd completed a number of successful projects already. He was just jealous of another staff member and was trying to exert his authority.馃槒
