What’s one of the most ridiculous situations you’ve been in?

Back in the 90’s, my 2 friends & I would drive from Toronto to Buffalo to go shopping, just for the day. At the time, we were only allowed less than $50 duty free.

On one particular trip in July, we all bought over $100 of merchandise. I bought about 3 pairs of shoes & some tops. My friends bought undergarments & clothes as well.

We pulled over a few miles from the border, & proceeded to rip off tags & start wearing the clothes we bought. So we all had layers of clothes on. 🤣

The worst part is that we still got pulled over & had to pay duty on some of our items, all the while perspiring from the heat & humidity. 😆🤣

Off the top of my head, the time I got arrested in Spain was one of the dumbest.

4 police officers put me in a car, take me to the station and keep me there for ages because they caught me with less than half a joint. To make matters more stupid, weed is almost entirely legal over there. I just broke the rule about smoking it in public.

Like I'm some big threat to the public for that. There was probably someone in that town who was the victim of an actual crime while that was going on.

@marsbar yeah but I hadn't really meant to break it. Me and a friend were having a drink and a smoke in the back of a shop because we knew the guy who worked there.

As we were leaving, my friend handed me the end of a joint and a cop car pulled up immediately and I got arrested 😂
