I looking for the term for a certain psychological trick

Whats it called when someone keeps telling you somethings true or isnt... when it is?
For instance the ps5 is a good console when it really is or someone likes you when they really dont ?

Affirmations, I believe.

Say something often enough and frequently enough it becomes true.

Trick was very much used by our current president... until the 20th that is.

Because the trick is to "reaffirm" something said repeatedly.
