Do you ever get followed or watched unnecessarily while shopping?

Tired of just accepting it or leaving the store. Gonna start confronting people.

Seriously, how much can I fit in a tiny crossbody purse? I'm not fat enough to conceal shit in my clothes either 💁‍♀️

@cherokeepatti I get that, it's why I asked if she wanted to hold it. I needed to return the item, actually hoping for an even exchange ( same item in different color). It is also why I had it tied up in a knot. It was a plastic bag, not a reusable bag. Even without coming in with a bag, I still get followed/watched. I'm not a thief 😐

I have and I let them. One time at Target when I was pregnant I went early in the morning to clearance shop. It was October & they had great bargains back then during October’s. Went all over the store looking for red clearance tags with a security guy following me like I was a shoplifter. Every single thing I looked at was clearance, in jewelry, in lingerie, everywhere. It was funny seeing this guy stand at a rack of bras On hangers and slowly look at them one by one while keeping an eye on me. He followed me for two hours and then left, figured it was his break time. I stayed another 30 minutes and checked out. Who the hell shoplifts only clearance items?

@iamnikki A couple years ago I returned some unopened packages of cosmetics at Walmart, found the same things cheaper somewhere else. They refunded my $ and I got my cart & shopped. Almost done and went to the the cosmetic area to get something And someone from Asset Protection started following me like I was going to shoplift. I turned around Ed and said Hello! and he tucked tail and left the area. Now they corralled off the area with only one way to get in & out with a cashier sitting there to ring people up. You have to pay for the cosmetics there. I was looking to buy a bottle of Charlie cologne spray a couple years ago & they had it priced for $20, found the same thing on Fragrance Net for $7.

@cherokeepatti yea it makes me want to stay out of the stores and shop online.

@iamnikki they are running off business and when people get pissed off enough they will use other stores websites to order from.

They used to. Cause I have darker skin and a scraggly beard, walking around with a backpack. Guess they thought I was a member of is-is

It has happened to me once it made me anxious
Yes, I tried the confrontation route & its no use, they basically try to get rid of people who come across as shoplifters or drug users, smh. You wonder why I stay home.
Yes, i used to all the time when i was younger

Yes. When I spot undercover store security (which is almost always), I mess with them.
@Azlotto Yes, there is one.
