Why do people like to tell me...

That my people came to the US through the Bering land bridge? Like with such confidence and no humility at all. “I know your history better than you do” is the feeling I get from that.

It's a way they justify colonization by saying the land they stole was never really ours to begin with.

They do it to make it seem like indigenous people aren't native, because they migrated from elsewhere. Not taking into account it still makes you Native as Native Americans were the first to reach the Americas. We all migrated out of Africa originally anyway.
