Most retail stores are still open. You may have to wait outside until the store empties itself sufficiently to keep the number of people in the store within the law. Dining in is very limited in restaurants but delivery or pick up is doing great. One major coffee/doughnut shop is going to close its shops but that is the decision of the owners. Grocery stores are all open but have markings on the floor to help you keep your distance in line up. Not that the line ups are long. Most stores I know have banned reusable bags and demand you use single use plastic ones. The bus service is reduced to week end service schedules so they can sanitize more often.

@cherokeepatti Yeah, there are at least a few common items that are still pretty scarce.

Same here, many are still out and about. Don't know where they are going but when i walk my dog down side streets there is plenty of traffic passing us by.
The state says no groups over 10 people. Other than that we don't have anything.

They keep making new rules, about the same. We can walk or bike around, go to parks, go to whatever stores are open, go pick up food. They told a lot of businesses to close up. I know someone that has a Used car lot and he gets to stay open for car repairs and to accept payments, and to conduct business by phone and internet

We were just put on lock down in PA

@SW-User a lot of federal sealed indictments are about to be unsealed

I think Ohio is similar to Illinois as far as lockdown. The police are monitoring non essential business operation and large group gatherings. We can go outside and exercise though.

Similar to that here in Britain then. We can leave our homes for shopping as you say, work that cannot be suspended or done at or from home, and local exercise like walking or cycling.
The government did say work at home "if possible" - I wonder if it also realises that it's probably a minority of companies and employees for whom it is possible anyway.
