Do you think Ebola was handled better than the current virus?

If I remember it was dealt with a lot quicker. I think our current administration in the U.S. could be doing much better.

Ebola even though it is often deadly (unlike coronavirus) is not as easily transmitted so the comparison is unfair
SW-User
@SW-User Exactly, even one of the guys who discovered ebola has said that this is far worse because ebola was relatively easy to contain.
A lot quicker?
You’re off your fucking head

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Yep, and Nancy held up the vote on a relief package to attack GOP right before super Tuesday!
@curiosi jammed the bill with poison pills ( funding for more baby killing)
The Dems are so freaking done in november 😏

Very different scenario. Ebola isn't as contagious, its transmission is via bodily fluids (typically blood). A simple handshake won't give you Ebola. The typical way it was transmitted where it originated, in Africa, was when relatives washed the bodies of dead Ebola victims, apparently a common practice for the deceased...

I feel like Ebola had worse symptoms than Corona
SW-User
@Bignakedguy Yes it did...

No. Ebola heralded with outward signs early in its onset. CV doesn't. It risks wiping out an older vulnerable generation. Cynically as well re Ebola, I'm not sure it was given such a great profile until it started to impact western visitors etc. I may be wrong though.
Well the current administration is a f*****g circus. They aren't even equipped to handle such a situation like the Coronavirus.

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@curiosi Yeah, of course you would laugh at that 🤣
