I am new on the job. Is it stupid if I make a list of things...

...that my cowokers tell me about themselves, so that i remember small details about them? That way, if I'm on the elevator with them or end up at the lunch table with them, i have something more personal to say to them besides " how is the weather...

I have about 20 to 25 people I just met over the course of about 2 weeks so I'm like 馃槙

I think it's a great idea - just don't consult your notes in front of them.

I think that's a fine idea and if everyone put in as much effort as you then the world would be a better place. Just don't tell them that you write those things down. They might find that to be a bit creepy.

It's no different to just remembering these things, so no, I don't think it's stupid. The only downside is if someone finds your list and feels a bit uncomfortable about it.
