I'm in the southwestern desert - not affected here. But it's not over yet. Authorities are saying the storm was never more dangerous in some areas than it is right now, due to continuing rains on already saturated areas. A couple more days at least.

17 fatalities so far, caused by toppling trees, electrical accidents, inability of ambulance crews to get to victims of health emergencies, drownings.

I live in North Carolina...... my neighborhood didnt get it that bad, but i had alot of friends at the coast and they got it really bad......

this is in wilmington..... check out the mailboxes.
