I would hate to be called

For jury duty on a trial that will come up in the future...man charged with killing his girlfriend in my city after she filed a protective order, took their 7 month old baby and the baby has been found dead....They said this morning he had been arrested and also charged with desecrating the body of the woman....I'm sure that will be a nightmare for jurors to look at photos of if he chooses a jury trial....Why do people have to be so damned vengeful?

I would rather not have to see that, but if she was known in the community they may move it to another one. There was a man near my home town that disposed of his victims ashes in burning barrels with his trash. They showed the burning barrels on the newscast still smouldering. I still cringe when I think about it. I would think you would be impacted from those pictures of his actions for a long time so I hope you don't get called.

I would love to be responsible for putting his ass on death row

@SW-User I don't know what the hell he did to desecrate the corpse but thinking it was horrible....they put out an Amber Alert yesterday and said that the woman had been violently attacked but they never said she was dead, probably withholding that for some reason till he got arrested. I freaking hate when the news says "corpse" especially when I just wake up...

@SW-User You know they have a high rate of older people on jury trials because most are retired from jobs and most don't have young children that they have to stay home for...nightmare.

@cherokeepatti The woman didn't die, the news report was confusing because they didn't mention it was the baby that was found dead until later and that caused some confusion, the mother of the baby is still alive. This POS let the boy get burnt and didn't take him to the hospital and he died, then he threw the baby away in a garbage can and he wasn't found till a week later. The story is on the Daily Mail now.

The trial will be very traumatic for everyone associated with it, I am sure. I could not be in law enforcement for such a reason.

Lets hope once he is sentenced that they don't allow him to live for the next 50 years at tax payers expense. He deserves the death penalty for the horrific crimes he commited.

I've been on a murder jury with a massive toothache. After much timewasting, the lawyers went into a huddle and decided the case could not proceed so we had to call it not guilty.
