Why are house fires becoming more common?

AlphaPuppy · 26-30, M Best Comment
Because people are becoming more complacent, our houses are filled with electrical items that can catch fire easily, and everything is made of plastic which is flammable and gives off toxic gases

Outdated wiring.

If they become regular it's either:

People are cooking in their labs and something went wrong

Or you've got an arsonist or a group of them around.

Homeless people getting in vacant ones and setting something on fire to keep warm, seriously happening.
Around here they are mostly from fireplaces or some kind of heater
