I see this a lot. Women think men are stupid and don't read. That has nothing to do with it. Men work by numbers. We are used to being rejected in our advances. We are used to hearing no from women we are interested in. If we let rejection stop our pursuit we would never get anywhere with most women. So we become conditioned or are biologically driven to take a shot at it. What's the worst that can happen? If the overture ends in rejection we are no worse off than if we hadn't tried. I doubt you'll find many men who have not learned that persistence can pay off.
So instead of getting vexed about how stupid the male gender is just ignore or block and move on. Your blood pressure will thank you.

@CalmUnderThePalm why is it pathetic when a young girl openly states what she wants and doesn't want? There is no ambiguity in the statement. The thing is pathetic is comments from males having a go at her over her statement. Your comments show a complete lack of respect to the wishes of an individual and that says a lot about you as a person. The use of exclamation marks as ifor to highlight certain words and the use of capital letters to make even more emphasis speaks volumes about maturity or the lack of it in your case.
