Implants don’t have to be removed before cremation , they are picked out if the ashes, as are prosthetic joints . Same with braces .

According to my friend (a mortician) as long as you're not being cremated and there's no religious prohibition, they don't remove them. My friend recently had to prepare some teenagers after a horrific auto accident on I-580. One of them had braces. 😞
