People with social anxiety, do you think that you would enjoy social interactions more if you were better or more comfortable with them?

Most definitely. It's the lack of social confidence that holds me back the most, and it sucks having to bite your tongue due to that reason...

It's hard to say. Mine developed while I was a professional musician, and I had been playing live for years in front of crowds of people, then it just started happening where I could face people which was weird because there was no logical reason for it that i could see.

The thing is, I actually do have good social skills and I'm good at interacting smoothly and diplomatically, and at least looking like I'm comfortable, but it doesn't make any difference. It's draining and exhausting, I fret about it beforehand and I criticize myself afterwards for days.

No. I enjoy people. I'm not shy and I love to make others smile. My issue is most people are shallow, boring, repetitive, bossy, lazy and all they want to do is eat junk food. I'm not into it. And most people aren't into me. Sucks.
