I Am The One Who Is Different From The Crowd

I know I don’t have anything in common with people my age. Nor do I care to. I’ve had friends look at me like I’m nuts cause I don’t follow the crowd. I got a feeling that those looks of disapproval is really envy cause they wish they could be as self confident & have as much self respect I have. It may sound obnoxious but, that’s always what I’ve theorized. I stick out like a sore thumb around here, been asked all my life why I can’t I be like everyone else around me & my answer to that is & always will be cause I’m not afraid to be me no matter what others might think. I follow my own path & do what I think is right rather people are looking or not. Yeah, I’ve been made fun of for who I am, being different but, I’m the only one who stands triumphant in the end. My differences also attracts people I’ve noticed.
