It has rained in Perth for 17 days in a row, with another week of rain on the way. [I Love Bad Weather]

So far, 20th July, this is the wettest July since 2001.
We do need plenty of rain so I am not complaining, just letting you all know, Perth is being drenched.
Nothing like Western Europe, but most unusual for Perth.

That is a lot of rain. Stay safe.

Nor is most of "Western Europe".

The awful floods were confined to an area of W. Germany and neighbouring Belgium, and some in one or two other regions.

London caught a fringe storm causing some local floods there.

Yet here in North America we are all having record heat. Death valley tied it's last year worldwide heat record of 130°f that's 54.44°c.

And an eight day record above 120°f which hasn't been ever tied worldwide much less longer.

We have had rain in New England for at least 2 weeks, and temperatures went from the high 80's to the mid 60's. Very wacky for the middle of July.
