What is your reason for being here?

Not an ethereal question.
On SW.
I know everyone has different reasons for being here, but have they been satisfied, or have they changed as you have spent more time here?
I wonder what the point is, my reasons.

Originally it was to write out how I was feeling. Now I only really contribute when I feel low, or have to get something out of my head that is sitting there and has no where else to go. I keep telling myself I really need to just leave as here is not actually that helpful a place.

@StormInaTeacup while it can be helpful to have a place to turn to when feeling blue, it does become somewhat of a crutch if it is only used to stave off negative thoughts and feelings.
Maybe if you go, you can take me with you 😕
