Do you have guests take off their shoes when entering your home?

helenS36-40, F Best Comment
No, my floor is a floor and not a place to eat from.
helenS36-40, F
@Existentially Haha thank you for "Best Comment"!
(And I thought I would be considered mucky pup of the week 馃榿)

馃嚭馃嚘馃尰 yes, it is tradition here. people bring house slippers to visit, or there will be some by the door.
@Yulianna I never knew that ! 馃槂
Yulianna22-25, F
@bijouxbroussard winter is snow and slush, spring and autumn muddy, summer dusty... not so much in cities now, but the tradition remains.
SammykellyF
Yes everyone has too in our house though at times theres not enough air fresher with some of my uncles lol
@Sammykelly I have a friend who keeps clean tube socks by the door for guests who can鈥檛 go barefoot (like me) because everyone has to take off their shoes upon entry. At one party, though, a couple of people clearly hadn鈥檛 washed their feet. 馃あ

@bijouxbroussard ewww gas masks needed 馃ぃ馃ぃ
Its a good idea, I should do that. But we have a "nothing" floor now, if our friends wanted to visit I wouldn't worry as much about the house as my friends enjoying their stay.

@sally1981 yes, and all underwear, completely naked
sally198141-45, F
@SW-User Naked is up to the quests.
sally198141-45, F
Yes shoes and clothing right down to their underwear.
DearAmbellina211341-45, F
Hell yeah. You have no idea how much bacteria is tracked into your home by shoes. Also if you have carpet, it will stay cleaner and wear out more slowly if you don't wear shoes in the house.
SomeMichGuyM
Only women with sexy feet are required to go barefoot, and everyone else in the party is turned away.

Yes I also invite them to take everything else off but sadly no one has yet .As a nudist my home is clothing optional.
Melpomene22-25, F
Yes, it's normal here to wear slippers inside and most of homes will have slippers for guests.
AbbeyRhodeF
No, but I wish they'd leave their politics at the door.
alan20M

sassypants36-40, F
