Where did you get your bedroom furniture?

acquired antiques. mahogany sleigh bed, bureau, and wardrobe.

My husband bought it. It was already there when I first moved in with him.

It's a mixed collection of things that were passed down in my family and his family. Nothing matches. The queen-size bed doesn't have any headboard because the room is too small. The mattress is a hand-me-down from a friend whose husband left her. She didn't want that nearly-new mattress anymore. We really do need a new one at this point, though.

Neighbors, they were on vacation

couldn't find anything I liked. Went into a used furniture store and there were pics up of a bedroom set I really liked. That was many years ago and I still love it.

Get? He makes everything, except mattresses, but only because I wouldn't let him.

Restoration Hardware. It’s expensive but it will never have to be replaced so it’s worth it.

I am once again moving and having to buy several new pieces of living room/bedroom furniture. I'm finding some great prices at second hand stores I will have to refinish a few pieces but prefer solid old wood to the modern junk you end up with these day's. I'm just careful to sanitize old furniture.

They were all given to me by people who were getting their own new furniture.

We got ours from Ethan Allen....but that was 34 years ago.
