That never happened but one time I was watching my ex change a tire, it was a radial & there were wires sticking out. He leaned it up against a rock wall next to the car, and I leaned up against it. Got up to go in the house and that tire exploded. It was loud enough to make my ears ring...I was about 10 steps away.
