@Pikachu It's can be hard. Sometimes I don't want to take off my shoes when I come home, especially when I'm tired after getting home from work.

@SW-User Shoes are not allowed in our house. You take them off at the door and put them back on just before you leave. Most houses around here have the same custom.

No shoes allowed in our house. Its the norm where we live. When visiting we also remove shoes.
Depends. Do you prefer dirt in the carpet or toe jam in the carpet?
@Pikachu I've noticed that people that take their shows off their carpet start to smell like feet. lol If you wear socks that is different. Also some carpets I really don't want to touch with my feet as my feet are cleaner:/
