Is it ever okay for a roommate to enter your room without permission?

All he did was take my fan. He said he borrowed it for outside but I'm just bothered by the fact that he went into my room without permission at all. He didn't ask or tell me. He just took something. Am I being dramatic?
Fuck no. That’s your personal space

It's not okay. You have to tell him.
If a verbal or written (better to do) contract permits I guess

[c=#800000]You might want to buy and install a lock on your bedroom door. [/c]

No. Don't enter rooms without permission. BASIC ROOMMATE RULE.
Not dramatic, he just ended the trust.
It's not okay. Make it clear what is the public space and what is the private space. Ask if you need to install a lock.

Public/private is a major thing with me. I have never gone through a man's wallet or phone. I expect the same respect.

He did wrong. Still, it's better than entering your room while you're changing.

Yeah, no. They need permission. That's a big boundary issue
