Depends on how much I love it and what shape it’s in. If it only needs cleaning, then off to the cleaners. If it’s also gotten raggedy and can’t be mended, out with the garbage.

If it can be cleaned, clean it, don't replace it.
If it can be repaired, repair it, don't replace it.
If there's a new model/version out but the existing still suits your purposes, keep it, don't replace it.

we get them laundered and dryed at the local launderette - you can get that done several times and they come back as new.
