The best thing about tax cuts is that they always pay for themselves, because the less you tax people, the more money they make.

except that's trickle down economics that don't work like that. in fact it has the opposite effect. do you know what a rich person will do to his factory in china that is making products to sell in usa when he gets tax cuts? nothing.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx No, he'll make more money so the government will collect more revenue than they did before.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway it's quite the opposite. it's a TAX CUT. the government gets less taxes because it's a TAX CUT. it's for people to pay LESS taxes not MORE. seriously it's not rocket science. a 1st grader would understand basic arithmetic.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx But when you lower the tax rate then people make more profits before taxes. And the increase in their profits always outweighs the decrease in the tax rate. That's just common sense.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway when you lower taxes people make more profit BECAUSE TAXES ARE LOWER DUH!!! and no never in the history of humankind lowering taxes resulted in higher tax income. it's simple economics. have you ever read an economy book?
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx No because the books are all written by liberals. I learned common-sense economics from the real world.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway adam smith was a republican conservator. and actually liberal economics favour tax cuts not the opposite. you contradict your own argument.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx Adam Smith never wrote a book though.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway he's the father of modern capitalist economy. At least don't embarrass yourself.
The Wealth of Nations, The Theory of Moral Sentiments, The Invisible Hand, Moral and Political Philosophy etc
just to name a few of the dozens he wrote.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx He never wrote a book though. He went out into the real world and talked to people like a real American.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway
he wrote many and many more being a co author. you are denying reality. it's amusing and sad at the same time.

@unknownpoetx Those are just copies of the speeches he gave.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway no those are books edited by him. grab one.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx Books are for liberals. The true spirit of Adam Smith can only be understood through common sense and real-world experience.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway adam smith was a conservative and he's the father of modern economy and he says the opposite of you. what is your education?
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx That's fake news.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway what news?
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx Adam Smith never said that.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway yes he did. he wrote those books. read them.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx Adam Smith wouldn't have been cooped up in his ivy tower writing books like some kind of liberal academic. You don't understand what it means to be a real American.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@USAalltheway have you read adam smith books or not?
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@unknownpoetx You can't learn about capitalism from a book. It takes common sense and real-world experience.
