I Play the Guitar

I was just wondering if any one else is replacing their expensive axes with more affordable ones. the first time I did this was I replaced a fender Stratocaster Deluxe with a G&L Legacy which wasn't that much of a savings.

Not long ago I bought an Agile 3000 and found that I played it more than any of my Les Pauls Considering that it only cost around 500 dollars with hard shell case that is substantially less than even a Les Paul SL. I still have my Les Paul custom but I sold all the rest. I really like the Agile because it plays great and has coil splitting which is something only found on very few Gibsons.

If you have found any great cheap sleeper guitars I would love to know what they are.

What style of music do you want to play because there are a lot of factors.

Thanks, I will look into the Ibanez and the Dean. I have owned ESP and I liked them very much. They cost dearly. I was looking at LTD but I think you make a good point to branch out. I looked at the Ibanez S series. What are your thoughts on them? I like the look of them because they look so thin. I know most people go for the RG or Prestige but they seem a lot thicker. I think I can still get a Prestige for less than a grand.

@nou4me ibanez isnt the easiest of guitars for me to play, but the sounds I can make with them are my favorite. I have an ART series but an S series is just as good.

If you can find anything from the Squier Vista series, those ate really cool. Made in Japan, quirky designs, starting to get collectible.

You could play something without strings attached 😜
