Asking for advice from mathematicians who are interested in programming on here [I Love Math]

I'm making a gamemap and I want to include many different textures, but it's all very math-heavy in order to make it look good. Every path drawn has to connect properly and I want it to look like a natural forest. What's the best way to achieve this?

My results so far, I just started.

One idea I have is to draw a path and then along this path make small arcs as you can see on the square here.
